Round Table : How do you switch from cross-channel strategy to omni-channel logic?

Hervé Bloch has worked in the digital sector for 17 years. He is a ‘power networker’ with more than 12,700 direct contacts on LinkedIn, all of whom are in the digital ecosystem. He began his career at IBM France where he developed their e-business, before launching a digital access start-up. He then entered the world of digital marketing, becoming head of Emailvision France’s sales division. He launched the company on the Swiss market, and ended up Country Manager for Eastern Europe and Russia. In 2011, he decided to create his company Digilinx, which helps key players with their digital strategy. He also produces the online TV channel dgtv.fr, which has filmed over 400 e-commerce players and organises the flagship events The BigBoss Summer Edition and Les BigBoss font du Ski (The BigBoss goes skiing), which the French media recognise as the main meet-ups of the who’s who in French e-commerce. Hervé Bloch is also on the board of ADETEM, and co-founded the Internet Managers Club, an exclusive club for digital key players. As it stands there are 450 members, and the only way to become a member is by co-option. He is the author of two pioneering books : Les 7 Péchés Capitaux du Marketing Digital (The Seven Deadly Sins of Digital Marketing) and Tout Savoir sur… L’Acquisition et la Fidélisation online (All you need to know about… Online Acquisition and Customer Loyalty). Lastly, Bloch made the cover of Stratégies magazine in September 2015, which recognised ‘The BigBoss’ as one of the most influential French digital networks.
